SIA Utilitas Valka belongs to the Utilitas energy group, which is the largest renewable energy producer and district heating company in Estonia and the largest wind energy producer in Latvia. The company's mission is to create a cleaner future by reducing the environmental impact of energy consumption and provide affordable, sustainably produced energy to its customers.
Your main tasks:
✓ Organizing Utilitas Valka's accounting
✓ Preparing and executing the company's budget
✓ Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports
✓ Preparing and submitting management reports
✓ Salary and vacation accounting
✓ Bank transactions
✓ Preparing and submitting accounting and tax documents and statistics
Workplace and volume
This is a part-time job up to 20 hours a week, either at the Utilitas Valka office (Rujienas iela 5, Valka, Valkas novads) or remotely.
The team
Utilitas Valka cogeneration plant is staffed by a dedicated team of 9 professionals. You will also be supported by Utilitas Group`s accounting department in Estonia.

You have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a renewable energy business. We provide the health insurance and 7 days of additional vacation. The gross salary is 1000-1300 euros per calendar month.
You are a suitable candidate, if:
✓ You have an education in accounting
✓ You have work experience in the energy or manufacturing sector
✓ You are capable to prepare a balance sheet
✓ You are good in English and understand technical terminlogy
✓ You have good computer skills (Excel, Powerpoint etc) and are experienced user of the business software MS Dynamics 365 BC
✓ You have good cooperation skills and stress tolerance
